(3) 15 mil (0.35mm) Friction tape - black cotton cloth with non-corrosive rubber resin adhesive. Its cloth backing makes this tape easily hand-tearable and extremely conformable. Highly resistant to humidity and galvanic corrosion. Holds tightly on rough and irregular surfaces. Its adhesive system will not dry out. Used for insulation and to protect industrial harnesses and electrical wires from physical damage caused by friction, for over wrapping low voltage splices and general electrical maintenance jobs. (9) Cotton cloth 11 mil uncoated 100% woven unbleached cotton, with white hypo-allergenic natural rubber adhesive. "Write-on" capability. Used for metal surface protection and finger protection. Can be used for bundling, carton closing, bin marking, tool handle wrapping to prevent slippage, and covering fragile surfaces such as glass dies and exposed sharp metal surfaces. Also suitable as an athletic tape. Adhesion: 31 oz/inch. width. Tensile strength; 40 lb/inch.. 3 inch neutral core/carton: Color: white (natural).
